Start Investing In Yourself
Keep doing the things you love, with confidence.
Exercise Physiology to help you stay strong, steady and capable so you can keep enjoying the people, places and activities that matter to you.
We have a particular focus on healthy ageing, helping people maintain their strength, balance, mobility and independence as their health and needs change over time.
Our support is not limited by age. We also work with people managing disability, injury, chronic health conditions, rehabilitation needs or changes in their physical capacity.
Stay strong for everyday life
Sometimes the first changes are small. Stairs feel harder, getting out of a chair takes more effort, or you are not walking as far as you used to.
Build the strength and capacity to keep doing more for yourself.Feel steadier and more confident
If your balance has changed, you have had a fall or you have started avoiding activities because you do not feel as steady, targeted exercise can help.
Improve balance, strength and confidence on your feet.Exercise with confidence when health is complicated
Pain, osteoporosis, arthritis, heart conditions, diabetes, neurological conditions or multiple health concerns can make knowing how to exercise safely feel confusing.
Exercise designed around your health, abilities and goals.Build yourself back after a setback
Illness, injury, surgery, hospitalisation or simply spending less time active can affect your strength, fitness and confidence surprisingly quickly.
Start where you are. We will build from there. What would you like to keep doing?
For us, exercise is not the end goal. It is a way to help you stay involved in the life you want to live.
We start with what matters to you and work backwards from there.
You do not need to get fitter before you ask for help.
You do not need to be strong enough, fit enough or confident enough before your first appointment. We meet you where you are now and adapt exercise to your health, abilities and confidence.
Care should feel personal.
Good Exercise Physiology is more than handing you a program and sending you on your way. We take the time to understand what is happening, what matters to you and what will actually work in your life.
Work consistently with the same Senior Accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologist, so you do not need to keep explaining your story.
Your program considers your health, symptoms, home, environment, equipment and the activities you actually want to improve.
We use practical measures and meaningful goals to help you see what is changing and whether your exercise program is working.
Your care is not rushed. There is time to listen, adjust your program and make sure what you are doing remains useful and appropriate.

Getting support should not become another difficult trip to organise. We can work with you at home, in the community or at a suitable local gym, allowing your exercise to be built around the places and activities that are part of your actual day.

DVA Exercise Physiology referrals are welcome for eligible Veteran Card holders with a valid referral from their GP, medical specialist, treating hospital doctor, or hospital discharge planner.
DVA-funded Exercise Physiology may support eligible veterans with chronic health conditions, injury recovery, post-hospital rehabilitation, reduced strength, mobility concerns, pain, balance difficulties, falls risk, fatigue, and other health-related barriers affecting day-to-day function.
All services are delivered either by mobile home visit or telehealth, helping you access professional Exercise Physiology support in a way that is practical, comfortable, and suited to your circumstances.
For clients located within the Sunshine Coast region, mobile home visits allow you to receive care in your own environment. This can be especially helpful if traveling is difficult, if your goals relate to daily tasks around the home, or if you feel more comfortable being supported in a familiar setting.
DVA initial appointments are generally completed in person via mobile home visit. Telehealth consultations may be available for suitable follow-up sessions where clinically appropriate and consistent with DVA requirements.
How the DVA referral process works:
First, speak with your GP or treating medical professional about whether Exercise Physiology is appropriate for your health needs. If suitable, they can provide a DVA referral for Exercise Physiology.
Once you have your referral, you can send it through before your first appointment. This allows us to confirm your referral details, check the condition being treated, and ensure your sessions are aligned with your DVA-funded care.
Your first session will involve discussing your health history, current concerns, goals, physical capacity, home environment, and any barriers affecting your daily life. From there, we create a tailored exercise plan focused on improving strength, movement, confidence, independence, and long-term self-management.
Where appropriate, updates can be provided back to your referring doctor so they remain informed about your progress and ongoing care needs.
For eligible DVA-approved services, there is no gap fee charged to the client. Services must be clinically necessary, related to your approved DVA entitlement, and provided in line with DVA referral and funding requirements.

Medicare referrals are welcome for eligible clients with a valid GP Chronic Condition Management Plan from their doctor.
Medicare may help cover part of the cost of Exercise Physiology services for people living with a chronic health condition or complex care needs. This may include conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic pain, respiratory conditions, neurological conditions, cancer recovery, reduced mobility, or other long-term health concerns.
All services are delivered either by mobile home visit or telehealth, making it easier to access Exercise Physiology support in a way that suits your health needs, lifestyle, and circumstances.
For clients located within the Sunshine Coast region, mobile visits allow you to receive professional care in the comfort of your own home. This can be especially helpful if traveling to appointments is difficult, you feel more comfortable at home, or your goals are based around improving day-to-day function in your own environment.
Telehealth consultations are also available where appropriate, providing flexible support for clients who prefer online appointments or live outside the mobile service area.
How the Medicare referral process works:
First, book an appointment with your GP to discuss whether you are eligible for a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan. Your GP will decide whether Exercise Physiology is appropriate for your health needs and can provide a referral if suitable.
Once you have your referral, you can send it through before your first appointment. This helps us confirm the referral details, understand your health background, and make sure your Exercise Physiology sessions are aligned with your doctor’s plan.
Your first session will involve discussing your health history, current concerns, goals, movement capacity, and any barriers that may be affecting your daily life. From there, we create a tailored plan to help you move more confidently, build strength, improve function, and better manage your health.
After your appointment, the required information can be sent back to your referring GP so they remain updated on your progress and ongoing care.
Please note that Medicare rebates apply to the eligible Exercise Physiology service component only. Travel fees and any additional out-of-pocket costs are not covered by Medicare.

Aged Care Exercise Physiology services are available for eligible older adults who are approved for support through My Aged Care, including Support at Home, the Commonwealth Home Support Program, Transition Care, or privately funded aged care arrangements.
Exercise Physiology can help older adults maintain strength, mobility, balance, independence, and confidence in everyday life. Support may be helpful for people experiencing reduced strength, falls risk, pain, fatigue, chronic health conditions, changes in mobility, reduced confidence, or difficulty keeping up with daily tasks at home and in the community.
All services are delivered either by mobile home visit or telehealth, making it easier to access professional support in a way that feels practical, comfortable, and suited to your needs.
For clients located within the Sunshine Coast region, mobile home visits allow you to receive care in the comfort of your own home. This can be especially helpful if traveling to appointments is difficult, if your goals relate to everyday tasks around the home, or if you feel more confident being supported in a familiar environment.
Telehealth consultations may also be available where appropriate, providing flexible support for clients who prefer online appointments or live outside the mobile service area.
How the aged care referral process works:
If you are not already receiving aged care support, the first step is to contact My Aged Care or speak with your GP or health professional about arranging an aged care assessment. This assessment helps determine whether you are eligible for funded support and whether Exercise Physiology or allied health services can be included in your care plan.
If you already have aged care funding, you can speak with your care partner, support coordinator, case manager, or aged care provider about adding Exercise Physiology to your current supports. They can help confirm whether the service is approved under your plan and how it can be arranged.
Once your referral or approval is in place, we can confirm the service details, discuss your goals, and organise your first appointment. Your first session will involve discussing your health history, current abilities, home environment, mobility, falls risk, daily routines, and the activities that matter most to you.
From there, we create a tailored plan focused on helping you move more safely, build strength, improve confidence, and maintain independence for as long as possible.
Where appropriate, updates can be provided to your GP, care partner, aged care provider, or relevant support team so everyone involved in your care remains informed.
Please note that funding, fees, and any out-of-pocket costs depend on your aged care program, approval, and provider arrangements.

NDIS Exercise Physiology services are available for self-managed and plan-managed participants who want practical, person-centred support to build capacity, improve function, and work towards their goals.
Exercise Physiology may support participants with strength, mobility, balance, coordination, fatigue, pain, confidence, cardiovascular fitness, emotional regulation, community participation, and everyday physical capacity. Sessions are tailored to the person’s disability, goals, current ability, support needs, and daily environment.
All services are delivered either by mobile home visit or telehealth, making it easier to access support in a way that feels practical, comfortable, and suited to each participant’s needs.
For participants located within the Sunshine Coast region, mobile home visits allow support to be delivered in the home or community environment. This can be especially helpful when goals relate to daily routines, safe movement around the home, functional capacity, confidence, community access, or building independence in real-life settings.
Telehealth consultations may also be available where appropriate, providing flexible support for participants who prefer online appointments or live outside the mobile service area.
NDIS Exercise Physiology can help with:
Improving strength, balance, mobility, and coordination
Building capacity for daily tasks, independence, and community participation
Supporting safe and sustainable physical activity routines
Managing pain, fatigue, reduced fitness, or changes in function
Improving confidence with movement, exercise, and everyday activities
Developing practical strategies to support long-term health, wellbeing, and participation
How the NDIS referral process works:
You do not need a GP referral to access NDIS Exercise Physiology, but your NDIS plan must include appropriate funding and the service must relate to your disability, goals, and support needs.
If you are self-managed, you can contact us directly to discuss your goals, funding, and whether Exercise Physiology is suitable for your plan. After your appointment, an invoice can be provided for you to claim through the NDIS participant portal or app, depending on how you manage your funding.
If you are plan-managed, you can contact us directly or ask your plan manager, support coordinator, nominee, or family member to assist with the referral. Invoices can be sent directly to your plan manager for processing, once the required details have been provided.
Before commencing services, we may ask for relevant information such as your NDIS goals, plan dates, funding type, plan manager details, key contacts, health background, and any risks or support needs that may affect your sessions.
Your first session will involve discussing your goals, current abilities, disability-related needs, daily routines, movement capacity, and the areas of life you would like to improve. From there, we create a tailored plan focused on helping you build capacity, improve confidence, and work towards meaningful outcomes.
Where appropriate, progress updates and reports can be provided to support coordinators, plan managers, families, carers, or other members of your support team.
Please note that services are available to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants only. We are not currently able to provide services for NDIA-managed participants.

All services are delivered either by mobile home visit or telehealth, making it easier to access personalised care in a way that suits your lifestyle, goals, and circumstances.
For clients located within the Sunshine Coast region, mobile visits allow you to receive Exercise Physiology support in your home, workplace, gym, or community setting. This helps make your program more practical, accessible, and relevant to the way you move and function in everyday life.
Telehealth consultations are also available where appropriate, providing flexible support for clients who prefer online appointments or live outside the mobile service area.
Private Health Exercise Physiology can help with:

Supporting chronic health conditions and long-term wellbeing
Improving cardiovascular fitness, energy, and body composition
Building confidence with exercise and safe movement
Developing a structured program for strength, performance, or sustainable progress
How the private health process works:
You generally do not need a GP referral to access Exercise Physiology through private health insurance. If you have extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate depending on your health fund, level of cover, waiting periods, and yearly limits.
Before booking, it is recommended that you check with your private health insurer to confirm whether Exercise Physiology is included in your extras cover and whether mobile or telehealth services are eligible for rebates under your policy.
Your first session will involve discussing your health history, current concerns, goals, movement capacity, training experience, and any barriers affecting your daily life. From there, we create a tailored plan to help you move better, build strength, improve function, and stay consistent over time.
After your appointment, you will receive the relevant invoice or receipt details needed to submit a claim with your private health insurer, where eligible.
Please note that private health rebates vary between insurers and policies. Any fees, travel costs, and out-of-pocket expenses will be explained clearly before your appointment, so you know exactly what to expect.

All services are delivered either by mobile visit or telehealth, making it easier to access rehabilitation support in a way that suits your injury, work demands, and circumstances.
For clients located within the Sunshine Coast region, mobile visits can be delivered in the home, workplace, gym, or community setting where appropriate. This allows rehabilitation to be more practical and relevant to the physical tasks, environments, and goals involved in your recovery.
Telehealth consultations may also be available where clinically appropriate and approved as part of your WorkCover claim.
WorkCover Exercise Physiology can help with:
Rebuilding strength, mobility, and functional movement after a workplace injury

Supporting graded return to work and suitable duties
Developing a work-specific functional exercise program
Managing pain, deconditioning, fear of movement, and reduced physical capacity
Building independence with safe exercise and long-term self-management
How the WorkCover Queensland referral process works:
First, you will need to see your GP or treating medical professional to discuss your work-related injury and obtain a current work capacity medical certificate. Your claim must be accepted by WorkCover Queensland or the relevant self-insurer before funded treatment can usually proceed.
Once your claim is approved, Exercise Physiology may be recommended by your GP, treating practitioner, rehabilitation consultant, employer, case manager, or WorkCover claims representative.
Before your first appointment, we will need relevant claim details, including your claim number, current work capacity medical certificate, injury details, employer details, treating doctor information, and any approval or referral information provided by WorkCover.
Your first session will involve discussing your injury, work role, current capacity, suitable duties, goals, barriers to recovery, and the physical demands of your job. We may complete relevant movement and functional assessments to help guide your rehabilitation plan.
From there, we create a work-specific exercise program focused on improving function, building capacity, supporting recovery, and helping you progress towards safe and sustainable return to work.
Where required, updates may be provided to your GP, WorkCover claims representative, rehabilitation consultant, employer, or other treating providers involved in your recovery.
For approved WorkCover Queensland services, invoices can be submitted directly to WorkCover or the relevant insurer. Services must relate to your accepted work-related injury and be delivered in line with WorkCover Queensland approval, referral, and funding requirements.
